Our Commitment

Elevance is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to guarantee we provide equal access to all of our users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Elevance website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, though we are actively working to resolve these issues.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following features to improve accessibility on our website:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard.
  • Color Contrast: We maintain strict color contrast ratios to ensure text is readable.
  • ARIA Attributes: We use ARIA landmarks and labels to provide context for screen readers.
  • Alt Text: Meaningful alternative text is provided for all informative images.
  • Scalable Text: Our website supports browser-based text scaling without loss of functionality.
