Tom Sykes is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience delivering and governing enterprise IT services.
He previously founded and led Rockford IT, a Telford-based managed service provider, which he successfully operated for 17 years, growing the business to a 50-person team. Prior to this, Tom served as IT Director for a Top 100 UK law firm, giving him first-hand experience of IT leadership from the client side, an insight that strongly shapes Elevance’s pragmatic, outcome-driven approach.
At Elevance, Tom leads the company’s focus on modern IT transformation, helping organisations optimise their existing technology estates while preparing for emerging capabilities such as AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot. His philosophy centres on extracting maximum value from current platforms, reducing risk, and enabling informed, strategic decision-making at board level.
Tom is supported by an experienced leadership team, including Chief Sales Officer Wayne Howells, formerly of OGL Group, one of the region’s most established MSPs.
